Press Release

August 23, 2004

Entertainment Now Media World Wide (owner of the Live365 station, WRAJ Internet Radio) has released that a internet TV station is in the making. The internet tv station will be a first on Long Island. "The internet TV will increase our visitors, and if our provider allows ads through the broadcast, it will increase our revenue" said Anthony, owner of EN.

The EN Internet TV logo was also revealed above, the logo is a 3D look of the original EN logo. The station name has also been revealed, it has been decided that it will be called "Entertainment Now TV", "EN TV", and "Entertainment Now (EN) Internet TV." The Internet TV station will also have .com when the station releases. However, the station has not decided a final date release, "we are trying to release the new TV station by late 2005" said Anthony. Anthony is right now deciding what provider to use, he had no comment at the press release.

Entertainment Now is also planning the outline of shows to broadcast. Here is a list of shows that might make a appearance on EN TV: (all is not guarantee to be on the station)

  • Seinfeld (NBC)
  • Friends (NBC)
  • The Simpsons (Fox)
  • Family Guy (Fox)
  • Futurama (Fox)
  • Invader Zim (Viacom/Nickelodeon)
  • Rocko's Modern Life (Viacom/Nickelodeon)

Entertainment Now TV is also planning more classic TV shows, movies, and you can't forgot about the live shows, that's right! EN TV is also going to have the compatibility to broadcast 'live shows,' "it will not be a  success if we don't have a live show" said Anthony. Live shows include a one hour talk show, and maybe a newscast. "We will be setting up a mini TV studio for the live broadcast."

A staff member asked Anthony about if EN TV can be broadcast in WMV High Def, Anthony answered by saying "Microsoft Corp. has not released a codec to retrieve live WMV HD. I have previewed the new WMV HD on my 2.0 GHz computer and I think it is great, but every few seconds, it freezes from time to time. We are planning to use a plug-in free player window, which will only require Java which is already installed on most computers."

Screenshots of the IDs, cameras, and many more will be released by Sunday.
